About the Speakers:

E-commerce setup and marketing: Natalie Slater is an e-commerce and digital marketing professional from Chicago. Currently the Marketing Director for I Heart Keenwah, she has launched several e-commerce brands, as well as developed content, marketing, and sales strategies for companies like Lifeway Foods, Reuseit.com and AbesMarket.com (now Direct Eats).

Legal: Lema Korshid is one of the founding partners at Fuksa Korshid, LLC where she has handled a wide range of legal matters for small to mid-sized closely held businesses in Chicago and New York for the last 10 years. She frequently assists her business clients with corporate transactional and intellectual property matters. As a passion advocate for entrepreneurs, Lema volunteers her time to speak at Small Business Development Centers all over Chicago to entrepreneurs on a myriad of legal issues that impact their businesses. Previously,  Lema spent over 6 years consulting hospitality, fashion, and entertainment clients on their branding and PR strategies and initiatives. Drawing on her unique career experiences in Europe, she co-founded her own company in 2001, servicing high-profile clients in the entertainment, fashion, and hospitality industries in Chicago and New York. In 2003, her company gained national recognition when it was featured on MTV's Real World Chicago.

 

InsuranceAnna Maria Viti-Welch is the President of Guy Viti Insurance Agency, Inc.  Founded in 1938 by her grandfather, Guy Viti Insurance is an independent insurance agency providing personal and commercial lines insurance to individuals and businesses.  Since joining the agency in 1985, Anna Maria has successfully paved the way for the company to grow and succeed through her commitment to offer unparalleled customer service and personalized products to her clients.  Not only is Anna Maria an expert in the insurance field but she also enjoys mentoring, businesses development and networking with seasoned entrepreneurs and start-ups to improve their understanding of risks associated with insurance.

Fulfillment: Molly Frank, UPS Retail Industry Segment Marketing Manager, has been with UPS for 12 years. Originally hired as an Industrial Engineer, she spent her first 7 years working on internal supply chain and logistics for UPS. Over the past 5 years Molly has transitioned to the Marketing side of UPS with experience in both New Product Development and Industry Segment Marketing. Currently, Molly works with UPS customers to identify strategies and solutions to support e-commerce growth – she works with many of the largest Chicagoland food shippers.
