A GROWING INDUSTRY
A BETTER CHICAGOLAND
CFBN has created this page as a resource for members and industry partners as we all face the unprecedented changes that COVID-19 has brought to our communities, our industry, and our Network. At the end of the day, CFBN was created to act as a platform for collaboration - and we will do our best to continue to do that...albeit "virtually" throughout this time.
CFBN has designed a series of webinars, virtual events and online discussion forums to tackle pressing industry conversations amidst the COVID-19 restrictions & shutdowns. As this virus continues to globally impact the operations and businesses of the food and beverage industry - CFBN is here "virtually" to offer connections and conversation!
CFBN is committed to providing opportunities for our industry to connect via conversation, education, and "virtual" networking to keep innovation happening and keep our industry mobilized!
Please CLICK THE LINK to connect to those virtual events, as well as to review the posted resources for virtual offerings from the past few weeks and months.
This page contains a "virtual library" of CFBN's previously recorded webinars, video podcasts and virtual events, as well as presentation decks shared by panelists and speakers.
Please CLICK THE LINK to connect with previous virtual events.
Our network of CFBN Member companies and industry partners continues to be highly activated during this challenging time - looking to support, educate and share with our industry at large!
These companies and organizations continue to offer new resources and virtual content daily - with important legal, financial, and technical updates that we can all use as our businesses respond to the challenges of COVID-19.
Please CLICK THE LINK to explore industry offerings for virtual connection points. If you are offering upcoming virtual resources - please feel free to share by submitting your event (please email us)!
In the wake of the cancellation of ExpoWest, CFBN wanted to embrace its' mission as a "platform" for connection and collaboration for our industry! We are committed to continuing this work as more expos and events get canceled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
We are offering Food & Beverage companies in Chicagoland the opportunity to create a brief posting sharing the information about the products, services, or new offerings you would have featured or networked at ExpoWest or any other industry expo, event or offering. This listing will be posted (CLICK HERE) on a directory and is being networked to press, buyers, distributors, and investors in the Network and throughout Chicagoland. The connections will still be up to you, just like at the show, but we hope this will help provide one FREE opportunity for exposure to keep the momentum going!
Our CFBN Member companies and industry partners have begun to create and offer tremendous resources for all of the food and beverage companies, communities, and individuals impacted by COVID-19.
We have created this page as a"hub" to aggregate that information in one spot for your use. CLICK THE LINK to find links to all of the resource offerings which have been shared with us: articles, discounts/service offers, resource hubs, connection points and more.
Please feel free to share any that you come across or are offering - you can submit them for inclusion via email! And, thank you for all that everyone is doing to help those impacted by job loss, business loss, business disruption, and community health crises during this unprecedented global event.
CFBN is piloting a series of one-on-one networking opportunities, or virtual office hours, with experts, consultants, and leadership from across the Network. These individuals have volunteered to share their time to connect, collaborate, and to help all of us to continue to build resources that strengthen our professional networks. We will be piloting this program in late April/May 2020 with a series of 20 minute virtual Zoom calls. The calls will be booked with a variety of industry experts within their fields (innovation, marketing, food science, and more). These Network members have volunteered their time to connect and have discussions on: issues impacting our industry and how we can work towards solutions, insights and tackling problems we are all facing, or advice and experience within their field and roles.
If you’d like to participate in this pilot, we are asking you to complete this Google Form so that we can match all interested parties with the right industry expert.
Want to share your expertise? Please take a moment to complete this Google Form so that we can better understand the resources you’d like to share and the topics your expertise covers - and thank you for your interest and willingness to participate!
